Too often processes, equipment, and tools are selected without a thorough understanding of their capability, which in turn yields sub-optimal solutions. George Bishop, principal at G.H. Bishop Global presents at the Institute of Industrial Engineering Annual Conference in Nashville, TN. The session is entitled: Incentives - Yes, They Are Back - Are You Ready? discusses the topic of implementing incentives in various work environments.
During the session the M3 concept was introduced as a means to achieve higher levels of efficiency, productivity, and throughput.
